Have you ever seen an encore from a wedding band? Wavelength was one of our favorite vendors to work with for our wedding. Johnna is professional, organized and enjoyable throughout the process. Wavelength easily mastered our ceremony just as we imagined, perfectly accented our cocktail hour and then rocked it at our Barn/Dance party. Working with Johnna and Wavelength was so effortless. She was in constant communication about our needs and how they could make the event better. We chose Home by Michael Buble as our song. Wavelength did an amazing job on their rendition! We were so happy at how it turned out. Their collection of songs is diverse and covers many eras of music. They were very professional and did a wonderful job with announcements to keep the party rolling smoothly. The music changed according to the crowd which really set the mood throughout the night. We couldnt have asked for a better band to celebrate the night with us. We even recommended them to the local Newagen Inn as a regular band. We have a summer home in Newagen, ME, because Johnna, Kathleen and Wavelength far exceeded our expectations, they will be our band of choice for any event in that area in the future. We loved them and highly recommend them to any couple getting married from ME to Mass and beyond!

The band was unbelievable and really made our reception. They are so talented, were so organized, right on top of everything and to top it all off, on one of their breaks they went out to the car, learned the song Georgia by Ray Charles and sang it. I am from Georgia and most of my friends and family who were there are and it was amazing. The sign of a great band is that the dance floor is full all night and it was!!!!!! We just wanted to extend our most sincere appreciation to Wavelength who played at our June 13th, 2010 wedding. From day 1, Johnna, Wavelength's manager was on point with our vision for the wedding music and never lost touch. she was outstanding with details throughout the wedding preparation, which we really appreciated because there are just too many things to keep track of. Our experience with the band was nothing but the best. They were all super friendly and really flexible. They outdid themselves by learning our first dance, the mother-son, and father-daughter songs! Paul, the guitarist played at our ceremony and cocktail hour and he was just so good! My husband and I danced pretty much all night, and a lot of people kept commenting on how good the band was. One of the best moments in our reception was when my 4 yr old niece got on stage to sing a Taylor Swift song in the spur of the moment! The band just played along, Kathleen so sweet accommodating her so well, it brought tears to my eyes! Don't hesitate. They are so good you will have a great time. We wanted to let you know how happy we were with Wavelength as our wedding band. From beginning to end you were TOP notch. Your response time, level of organization, thoroughness, wiliness to learn new songs, attention to details, were all amazing. You were everything and more than you promised. We just had the absolute best time and everyone raved about the band! I knew you guys would be fun, but it even exceed my expectations. They had the dance floor crowded from the first song till the last. And I know Max Hodes had a blast singing with you guys. It made for an incredible evening - and a ton of fun! We had a great group of people, great location, and wonderful weather, but Wavelength really put it over the top. The band did an awesome job, they were more than we could have imagined. Everything was perfect, even though we did get a little rain towards the end. The band did such a great job. We had so much fun and all we've heard for the past two weeks is how amazing the band was. They sounded great, and did such a wonderful job with our first song. 5 Star Wedding Band! We live in Boston and initially had gone to see some wedding bands in the city while deciding on the best fit for our wedding. We were about to make our decision when we heard about a local Maine band- Wavelength. After listening to their samples and reading reviews we decided to go with them. We're so happy we found them at the last minute- they were everything we were looking for and more! Their talents allow them to bring good and fun variety to a wedding to help keep everyone happy. We loved how they interacted with our guests and made sure the dance floor wasn't empty once the entire night! We even used one of the band members, Paul D, to play our ceremony and cocktail hour music- that also went so well and we were very pleased! Johnna, the Manager of the band is so accommodating and easy to work with, which is a huge plus. We had experienced some not so responsive Managers while looking at other bands before we found Wavelength. I knew on the day of the wedding I didn't have to stress or worry about anything band related, thanks to Johnna. I would definitely recommend Wavelength to anyone looking for a fun, interactive band for your wedding!

A highlight of our wedding! Both my husband and I agree that Wavelength exceeded our expectations. We wanted to have a fun, live band that played a variety of music, and they surely did all of that and more. People of all ages were on the dance floor all night, and after the party, everyone told us how much they loved the band. They were flexible, fun, and very talented. I would highly recommend them for anyone looking to have a good dance party at their reception.

Wavelength Rocks! After listening to their demo cd we were thrilled to have Wavelength play at our wedding and couldn’t wait to see how they would engage the crowd. Needless to say, we weren’t disappointed. The dance floor filled up so quickly! All of the band members were courteous, cooperative and very talented. They played an extremely versatile, engaging and fun group of songs for everyone at our wedding. Our main concern beforehand was that a five piece band might be too over-powering for the room. We couldn’t have been happier with how they handled the volume throughout the entire reception. Wavelength made our night an unforgettable one!

Best wedding band!!! When we were planing our wedding we said we want our guests to remember what a good time they had and to us that meant to have a live band. We were trying to find local vendors and after some research I came across Wavelength. All the outstanding reviews are so correct! Working with the manager Johnna was a breeze, she was always helpful and always responded quickly to questions in emails or phone calls. For our ceremony we had acoustic guitar music and it was perfect for our outdoor event. Paul did such a great job and everyone enjoyed the music. With dinner started the music of the band and it was so nice to have live music but still be able to hold a conversation without having to scream at each other over the music. The band learned Happy Together for our first dance and even played 99 red balloons for me since I am from Germany. After dinner the real party started and from that point on the dance floor was packed the whole night. Everyone was on the dance floor even the great aunt at 92!!! We added another hour that night because we didn't want the party to end. For the last dance all guests were dancing and cheering: One more song, One more song!!! So the band played one last song for us and it was the best band I have ever seen at a wedding! Guests still keep on telling us how much fun they had dancing and everyone raves about our wedding band!!! I would recommend this band without a doubt to anyone who wants to have a night to remember and wants to see their guests dance the night away.

We could not have been more pleased with Wavelength prior to or during our event. Johnna was extremely responsive and the band even learned a song for our first dance. The band set the right tone for the entire evening from cocktail hour to the last dance. We wanted to be sure that everyone, from my Grandma to our friends, was on the dance floor and Wavelength successfully fulfilled our wish! Would recommend them to anyone!

Wavelength was amazing! My husband was given the job of finding a band for our wedding in Maine, and he came across Wavelength. We were a little bit apprehensive initially because we live in FL and were getting married in ME, so we weren't able to see them live. Johnna met with me in person, though, when I was visiting Maine before the wedding, and set my mind at ease. She provided me with a CD of tracks, and we hired them a few days later. We couldn't be happier! The band was outstanding, and often times sounded so much like the original artists of the songs that people didn't realize they were listening to a band! No only that, they learned 5 songs for us (including our first dance song), and Kathleen even looked up the lyrics and sang "Call Me Maybe" acapella for our niece. When the band took breaks, so did our guests, but as soon as the band took to the stage again, people were immediately back on the dance floor! We absolutely made the right choice with Wavelength, and I would recommend them to anyone!

We had first heard Wavelength at a friend's wedding and loved them so much we asked if they would perform at our wedding (in another state, a good 2-3 hours away). They were so easy to work with, so fun to have at the wedding and have such a great mix of songs that everyone at the reception was on their feet (old and young alike!) We are so grateful that Wavelength was very accomodating - our wedding was outside, and it was a drizzly day - and laid back. Their manager Johnna spoke with us multiple times including just a few days before the wedding to iron out plans and make sure everything was set. I would recommend them to anyone!

I can't thank Wavelength enough for helping to make my wedding the great success that it was. From the diverse and energetic music played, to the freedom to request particular songs, to being open to the bride and groom grabbing the mic to embarrass themselves onstage, they accommodated it all! Wavelength was a terrific wedding band. People danced the whole time that they played. A great playlist - appealing to both young and old alike. Responsive to advance requests from the bride and groom, but they also know their own style and played with confidence. I would highly recommend Wavelength for a wedding or other party anywhere in Maine. They played the ceremony, the cocktail party, and the reception. They came up to Mount Desert Island for the event. I didn't get to meet the band until they arrived, but they were all polite, happy and easy to work with on the day of the wedding! Their song choices were amazing. Picking Wavelength as our wedding band was one of the best decisions we made. There were absolutely wonderful! Working up to the wedding we worked with the manager Johnna. She listened to all of our requests and made everything very stress free. For example, she was able to provide microphones for our outdoor ceremony. Wavelength had worked with our resort in the past and it was great knowing that the wedding planners at the resort and the band had a history of working well together. A few days before the wedding Johnna was still checking in to see if there were any changes we wanted. The day of the wedding went very smoothly and everything went as planned. Wavelength felt the energy from the crowd and really played to them. They played requests and everyone at the reception was dancing and singing to the music all night!! People are still talking about how much they loved the band and said it was the best wedding they have been too. Wavelength really made the wedding the best day of our life.

We used Wavelength for our wedding. We were so happy to find a band that was affordable and flexible. Wavelength learned two songs for us so that my husband and I could each dedicate a song to the other. They worked with us to be within our budget and gave us several options. I almost don't know where to begin! Wavelength and their manager Johnna are true professionals. From the first emailing inquiry to the last song at the reception, Wavelength was more than top notch. We saw them play at the Old Orchard Hot Air Balloon Festival and could see how well they interacted with the crowd, read the vibe of the crowd, and played the songs that got little ones to adults up and on their feet. I think they more than accomplished this at our wedding! They played very casual, elegant music during the dinner portion of the reception. It was the perfect volume as to not over power any dinner conversation. Following dinner it was a matter of seconds before people joined on the dance floor and at the end of the night our crowd was begging for another encore. Each member of the band is so talented and you can tell they love what they do. I can't forget to mention how wonderful Johnna is at the organization and communication aspect. It was so easy and worry-free from beginning to end. I 100% recommend Wavelength. I wish we could do it all over again because I had the time of my life. My wife and I had the pleasure of having Wavelength perfom at our recent wedding in Castine, Maine. From start to finish the band was outstanding. The musicianship, the variety of the playlist, and the flow of the evening was top notch. We were introduced to Wavelength by my wife's father. He had been getting lessons from one of the band members, Paul. We checked out their website, which is extremely informative, and decided this would be a great choice. From our first meeting with Johnna, the band manager, we knew we had made the right choice. Johnna had great ideas and experience to lend to our admittedly general requests. She was accomodating to our musical style and song requests and I was personally impressed with her level of professionalism and organization. Onto the band; Wavelength is very versatile and has the ability to play all kinds of music. We had them do the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. The bands versatility provided us with a variety of different sounds that merged well with the ambiance we were looking to create for each part of the wedding. They even accomodated our special request to have my Uncle Fred play with the band to sing and play piano for our first dance. People were dancing the whole night at the reception and loved the band. There were absolutely no problems dealing with them and they were completely professional. We could not have been happier to have them be a part of our special day, they were awesome. ) I would highly recommend the band wavelength. From the first contact with their manager Johnna and listening to previews of their music I knew they were the band for us. They learned a new song that was not even published by a local Maine band and did a wonderful job. Everyone danced, of all ages, and raved about how great and how much fun the band was. My daughter and son sang at the reception and the band thought they were so good they asked them to sing with the band. Not many bands would go out on a limb and do that. Our wedding was on a Thursday on Southport Island and the band had no problem accomodating the week day date or the location. I would highly recommend them and would use them again in a heartbeat. They helped make the day very special.

From the moment we saw Wavelength at the Fireside Inn in Portland we knew we had found an amazing band for our Trenton/Mount Desert Island wedding. The band's manager Johnna was so responsive and professional. The band is incredibly talented and has a great range of song choices. They even learned two new songs for us - "Wheel of the World" for the Father Daughter dance and "Dream a Little Dream" for our first dance. They kept all of our guests on the dance floor all night. They exceeded all of our expectations and I couldn't recommend them more highly.
