Kennebunkport Wedding At The River Club

Kennebunkport was the location for New York City couple Gabi and Ted’s June 23rd wedding. The happy couple was married at St. Anne’s in Kennebunkport and the reception followed at the Kennebunk River Club where guests joined us to begin an evening of celebration starting with cocktail hour on the porch of the boathouse before our bride and groom arrived. Gabi and Ted performed a choreographed first dance to Coming Home by Leon Bridges to get the party started. When the entire guests list hits the dance floor on the very first song, you know it’s going to be a good night. With the club decked out with the most fabulous floral display above the dance floor and a lively group of dancers, this celebration is unforgettable!

We started planning with Ted more than a year ahead and right from the beginning he expressed the need to have the ideal wedding band pack the dance floor for their get crowd of friends and family that would dance the night away to favorites from classics to current pop hits. There definitely was the fun factor music was to play in the reception. They planned out a list of songs that they knew everyone would dance to and we organized the playlist that would please the whole crowd from start to finish. This crowd made it easy for us!  The dance floor was rocking and the rafters were shaking from this high-energy celebration. We were excited to see them have a great time.

We received so many compliments after the wedding about how amazing the music was for our wedding reception. The dance floor was buzzing all night and they played a great range from new music to classic wedding staples! We also had the guitar player play for our cocktail hour, which was a great touch. Johnna, the manager, was so easy to work with prior to and during the wedding. She was extremely responsive and worked with us and other vendors to make the evening as seamless as possible for us.
