Backyard Wedding In Cape Neddick
Matt and Brie’s backyard wedding in Cape Neddick was perfect for their celebration and we think they made the best decision to setup a large tent in the field adjacent to Brie’s parent’s home because of it. Their family and friends will cherish these special memories forever. This was our second wedding with Brie’s family and we’re grateful they brought us back! Contagious smiles and a casual vibe set the tone for one incredible celebration. They danced their way into married life!
Paul played guitar for their ceremony across the street. Following the ceremony , everyone made their way back for dinner and dancing. The bride and groom invited guests to join in for their first dance before they took their seats for a steak and lobster buffet by Seacoast Brothers Butcher Shop. They chose Bonnie Raitt’s “Something To Talk About”. We played a special request for “Hava Nagila” to celebrate the chair raising with their Jewish family members, our favorite!
Thank you Matt, Brie and family for being such great hosts, and for allowing us to be a part of your wonderful Maine wedding! We are excited to share their wedding photos by RI wedding photographer, Joshua Behan Photography.
Brie’s Testimonial as seen on The Knot:
“It was such a pleasure working with Johnna and the Wavelength band!! After seeing the band perform at my sister’s wedding a few years ago, we were certain they were the best choice for our Maine wedding! One of my bridesmaids and long time friends told me that she judges her wedding experience on how much she wants to dance, and that not a single person was missing from the dance floor at our event!! Wavelength was incredible and the love and energy and excitement of the evening was palpable. They played a fantastic variety for every generation. We couldn’t be happier with their performance and hope to see them again at our next family celebration!!!”
