Backyard Wedding in Cumberland
Kate and Alex were married in a backyard wedding in Cumberland, Maine with the most down to earth and familiar family celebration you could dream up. The backyard was transformed to host a beautiful ceremony and upbeat reception at the bride’s childhood home. It was a unique space that made for an incredibly comfortable backyard bash. Loved the sweet and very funny toasts of Kate and Alex in college from their family and friends. The best part was how Kate and her Dad brought back childhood memories from the soccer field with their father/daughter dance. An epic “Don’t Stop Me Now” by Queen brought the crowd to their feet to start an epic night on the dance floor. We are a huge fan of making it your own!
It was such a pleasure to return to the neighborhood where Emma and Glyn were married three years ago. Thanks to your neighbors for the recommendation! We hope to be back in Cumberland soon! (Kate is the eldest of four daughters!) Congratulations Alex and Kate! Also, thank you to Lex Nelson Photography for sharing your images.
