Northeast Harbor Wedding
The day in June when Laura and David were married couldn’t have been any more beautiful. The family home in Northeast Harbor was decked in natural beauty with a wonderful view and the most amazing wedding day you can imagine. Laura and David are just the perfect pair. We were thrilled to celebrate with them and return to their summer home in Maine for a truly wonderful day. Planning took place over the winter with Laura and David in New York and Laura’s family in Virginia. Songs were chosen, schedules were arranged and vendor contacts were made. It was a reunion of sorts for all of us as we all joined to share in Laura and David’s special day. As always, a pleasure to work with Wallace Tents and Bobbie O’Brien. We reconnected with past clients, neighbors, friends and made a few new friends along the way. A family friend, Missy Janes, captured the beautiful images for the day and Laura was kind to share with us, thank you. Laura’s dad, Hamilton, wrote reviews on-line for us too, thank you!
Paul played keyboards for the ceremony and our guitarist, Paul French, joined him for the cocktail hour before the band started in with dinner and dance music for the evening. What a dance party it was! We added a few special touches in for Laura and David including a child-hood favorite, Rock Lobster by the B52’s. How fun!Laura’s dad put in a number of requests for Motown and Classic rock favorites from the Rolling Stones and with the entire party dancing the night away, it was sad to see it end. Thank you for having us!
