Fall Wedding in the White Mountains
We lucked out with one truly gorgeous day in October for this love-filled Fall wedding in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Danielle and Jim became husband and wife at an outside ceremony in North Conway at the White Mountain Hotel and Resort and continued their celebration with fine wine, dining and dancing with their guests. So happy we could be a part of it! The florals were nothing short of beautiful and with pastel bridesmaid dresses in the prettiest shades and matching ties, their wedding was bursting with color. Fortier Photography captured it all. These are so lovely, thanks for sharing!
Paul played keyboards in the gazebo for the ceremony with a little Bruno Mars for the bridesmaids to walk in and a Disney favorite “Once Upon A Dream” for Danielle’s bridal processional. “Loving You Is Easy” by Zac Brown Band was another new one for us to play during the recessional. Each song chosen was special.
Following their ceremony, guitarist Paul French provided background music for cocktails while the wedding party enjoyed a good time with Fortier Photography.
We first met Danielle and Jim when Wavelength performed in the Beswoon wedding show in March 2014. Danielle got back in touch in August to let us know that they were looking to have their wedding in North Conway in October 2015 and were trying to pick a date based on the band’s availability. We consider ourselves lucky that they entrusted us to customize the perfect entertainment package to help make their wedding day special.
A duo with Paul and Paul performed for dinner with guests in the Hotel’s dining room before the band kicked off a super fun reception in the ballroom.
We started with “Celebrate” for the introductions. For their first dance, Danielle and Jim decided on “Your Song” by Elton John and her father/daughter dance was to “Daughters” by John Mayer. A special song request for “Home” by Magnetic Zero was played during cake cutting and a surprise dedication of “Mean to Me” from the groom to the bride was played. Plenty of tears to go around for this.
Danielle’s friend Mike played guitar and sang with the band on “Wagon Wheel”. It was awesome!
Such a cute travel theme cake by The Sugar Maker Bakery! They have been on many great trips and right after this gorgeous wedding, they headed to Hawaii for their honeymoon. More amazing travel excursions to follow for sure.
Bouquet and garter toss was lots of fun!
And they danced!
Your Song: “My gift is my song And this one’s for you…How wonderful life is while you’re in the world”
Precious Moments Wedding Films were amazing and have posted this trailer that highlights Danielle and Jim’s day for them. What a special treasure to have and enjoy for years to come.
Thank you for having us share in your special day and many thanks for this review on The Knot. ” My Husband was in the process of trying to convince me to get a band for our October 3rd, 2015 wedding when we stumbled across Wavelength. We saw them play at a bridal expo and they were amazing! I was so excited to have them play at our wedding. They were so helpful through out the whole planning process as well. We even asked them if one of our close friends could play a song with them at our wedding and they were very accommodating. When the big day came they played during the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and of course after dinner. All day long I was impressed but my favorite part was dancing out on the dance floor with friends and family. They played classic songs, rock, country, and new songs. I would recommend them to anyone for any occasion.”
