Josias River Farm Wedding
Meg and Rob’s wedding was held at Josias River Farm in Cape Neddick on November 1st. What a wonderful location! Meg and Rob were planning to have their ceremony in the lovely gardens but not everything went according to plan. It ended up raining. We are so glad their backup plan took shape and boy what a magical transformation it was. Kathleen at The Black Tie Company made it look so easy. Instead of a garden ceremony, it was a barn ceremony. Oh those flowers, they were absolutely gorgeous and the barn looked amazing thanks to Blooms Flower Shoppe. We always love working with Geneve Hoffman Photography and here you’ll see, she captured Meg and Rob’s day perfectly.
Meg walked down the aisle to Canon in D and the bridesmaids to Ode To Joy for a touch of classical and then we played Marry You by Bruno Mars for the recessional. It set the tone for an incredibly fun and romantic evening. Meg is just the sweetest and the Moody family were incredible hosts.
The Black Tie Company provided an amazing dinner in a tent right outside the barn. After Paul played background music, we were ready to move the keys into the barn and get the party started.
Meg and Rob asked us to learn Carried Away by George Strait for their first dance and Wind Beneath My Wings for the father/daughter dance.
After the formalities, we were ready for the barn dance to begin! What a fun and loving group, thank you!
