New Hampshire Wedding At The Fells
This New Hampshire wedding at The Fells was set amongst the most beautiful gardens along Lake Sunapee with a spectacular tent setup situated on the rose terrace. Emily and Cooper’s elegant wedding was not only beautiful, it was the very best in our live wedding band experience. With the apple trees as a backdrop, this classic wedding began with traditional music selections for the ceremony. Moving to the veranda for cocktails, the party was just getting started. The day was a dream! Emily and Cooper were no strangers to Wavelength. The previous summer we played for Cooper’s sister’s wedding at the Botanicial Gardens in Maine and with this second family wedding, keeping the party going all night long went beyond all expectations. No one ever stopped dancing! From the first song to the last, they danced the night away. Playing for our clients is such an incredible privilege and we feel repeatedly lucky to celebrate with this family. We’re delighted to share a snippet of Emily and Cooper’s wedding with images by Nicole Baas Photography. What a wedding it was!
Music for the ceremony and cocktail hour was performed by Paul Dionne on keyboards. The bridemaids processional was “Canon in D”, Emily’s bridal processional was the “Wedding March” and for the recessional, the couple chose to exit with a recording of “Wouldn’t It Be Nice” by the Beach Boys.
We just loved Emily and Cooper’s first dance song pick “More Of You” by Chris Stapleton. So happy we could learn it for them. The father/daughter dance “Forever Young” was changed up vocally to cover the version by Joan Baez and the mother/son dance was another new one, “Loves me Like a Rock” by Paul Simon.
The dinner set included many upbeat songs choices and as fans of classic rock, country and Bruce Springsteen, the dance floor was hopping.
Emily’s mom, Patty, was our contact throughout the planning process. She wrote this wonderful review for us on The Knot and Wedding Wire. “This band was amazing. At one point during my daughter’s wedding reception, I think all but maybe 5 people were on the dance floor. What a fabulous, energetic, talented band they are. So many people asked where we found “Wavelength” – they could not have been better!! Definitely a great band that gets all your guests out of their chairs and dancing!!!”
Thank you for the collaborative effort from everyone!
