Newagen Seaside Inn Wedding

Mary and Chris’s dream wedding at The Newagen Seaside Inn was nothing short of amazing! And can we just say that when it came time for dancing, they rocked it! Mary and Chris wanted an unforgettable wedding. One song that was on the top of their list was You and Me by Dave Matthews Band for their first dance. They both love DMB and had gone to multiple concerts but there isn’t much music Mary said that she didn’t love. The main goal and vision for their wedding was to have music that everyone at any age would enjoy and to get them on the dance floor. Much to our delight, the band didn’t get through the dinner set before the dance floor was hopping. It was perfect.

Mary and her dad danced to Wildflowers by Tom Petty and Chris and his mom chose You Are the Sunshine Of My Life by Stevie Wonder.

Mary and Chris met at the University of Maine in Orono during Mary’s first year and Chris’s second year. They had friends in the wedding, in addition to, the parents of the bride, the parents of the groom, and many guests all UMO grads. What better time to play and sing along to the Maine Stein Song. So much fun!

We had a great vendor team and the most amazing time once again at The Newagen. Either a tent or the oceanfront view inside, this property has it all. We’re glad Mary and Chris chose this venue for their Boothbay Harbor wedding. It was unforgettable. Thank you so much for letting us be an important part of your day.

The review: WOW!! This band is amazing! They had the dancing going before the end of the first course! The playlist is extensive, and includes something for everyone, from the favorite standards to more current songs. Lindsay was so professional and organized, and Johnna was so helpful and great to work with. The band learned Dave Matthew’s “You and Me” for the first dance, and nailed it. They made us feel very special, like we were the most important gig they had ever played. Our guests had so much fun, and the dance floor was packed all night long. Book this band, you will not be disappointed!
