Chebeague Island Wedding

Maine island weddings are unique. From transportation logistics with cars, bus, van and boats, our journey takes us to incredible destinations throughout Casco Bay which makes for an interesting and memorable day.
Katherine and Clark’s Chebeauge Island wedding was surely memorable. So much love between these two high school sweethearts! Katherine told us that she had a large family and they all like to dance. In other words, this wedding was going to rock. It did. The music, the details, it all came together perfectly for one magical island wedding.

The Music

There were so many highlights but our favorite has got to be the special request to cover “Somebody to Love” by Queen for Katherine and her dad. This will always be their song. In addition to their first dance by a Swedish group, Katherine and her dad selected Bruce Springsteen’s “When You Need Me” for their father/daughter dance and Clark and his mom joined in
part way through. Paul French performed acoustic guitar for the ceremony and cocktail hour. The happy couple stepped away during the first dance set with their photographer and videographer to capture the most amazing island photos and video we’ve ever seen. After that, full on dance party ensued.

Katherine and Clark worked with us to bring their island wedding vision to life. Therefore, the details were important and music was one of them. You should always be smiling on your wedding day and we intend to make sure of it. One look at these wedding images and we’re convinced island weddings are unforgettable! Congratulations you two!
